My favorite quote...We all live in hiding. In one way or another each of us conceal pieces of ourselves from the rest of the world. Some people hide because their lives depend on it. Others because they don't like being seen. And then there are those special cases, the ones who hide because they just want someone to care enough to look for them...Which one are you?

...Sunday is the hardest day of the week

I almost always hate Sundays. They bring sadness almost every week. The only time that they don't is when I have Monday off! LOL Sundays are even worse when I'm back in school because not only does it signify going back to work, but it also signifies going back to class. But the worst Sunday now is the Sunday when I have to say goodbye to my man...

This past Sunday I woke up later than I wanted and I had to make a stop to Walgreens for my allergy pills before I went for my visit, so I rushed and got ready and raced off to breakfast. I ran thru Walgreens to get my pills and then raced to see my guy. I made up enough time that I arrived at the same time I did the morning before. This time I wasn't the first one in. I saw a woman walking across the street and the parking lot making her way in to the prison. I fought hard to make it to the door before she did, but I was about 6 feet behind her. I thought it was still okay, because I would be the 2nd person in. Boy...was I wrong! I was shocked when I walked in to the waiting room and saw 3 other people already in there. I was visitor #5. My anxiety had definitely increased!

Somehow it all worked out because I was the second person called in to the visiting room. We were able to secure seats next to a fan in the back and begin our visit! It was crazy hot again, so hot that the CO finally opened the windows, which are only 1 foot by 2 foot. In the afternoon while we were playing cards my back and legs were starting to cramp up so I moved my chair from being parallel to his chair to almost facing him. In order to accommodate the lack of space my man's left knee was between my two knees. They overlapped by less than 3 inches. There was nothing sexual about it and nothing devious either, but the CO came over and yelled at us to separate and for me to move my chair back to facing her instead of my man. I felt like a schmuck! I was already emotional and this wasn't helping matters... We weren't doing anything wrong! We weren't touching one another in an inappropriate manner, we weren't passing contraband...we were playing uno and I was trying to relieve some of the cramps in my back and legs! Ugh....

I fought back tears the majority of the day and with my guy telling me how he never wants to do anything to ever lose me again was not helping my emotional roller coaster either. But I held it together and when the CO called time at 7:50pm I was proud of myself and wondered if I could make it through our goodbye without tears. When we embraced and kissed, I stopped thinking, hearing, everything except feeling. It was one of those kisses/makeout sessions that always leads to more (wink, wink), so it stirred up so many things inside me. And when it finally ended and we hugged again and my man whispered to me that I had done good and he was so proud of me, the tears started and I couldn't get them to stop...I stole 4 more quick kisses (totally against the rules of one kiss and one hug at the start of a visit and one each at the end of the visit) and made my way to the door. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to turn around and wave goodbye to my man before I walked through the second set of doors. It was so bad that when I had to show my hand to the CO in the control room and hand him my paper to be scanned I choked out a "thank you" to him on a bunch more tears.

I didn't want to walk through the next set of doors without seeing my guy, so I mentally gave myself a slap in the face, pulled it together and turned around to mouth, "I love you" and blow him a kiss and give him a wave bye before I walked through that second set of doors. Like I said, Sunday is the hardest day of the week!

Just Another Saturday Night

As my recap continues let's step back to Saturday...

I set my alarm for 6:30am, because there is a lot I have to get done before I set off for my visit! Of course I didn't get up until after 7am, but that just makes it a normal morning for me. I got ready and left the room. I had to stop to the gas station and then on to the restaurant for a wonderful omelet! Thank goodness your food is there in a flash because by the time I sat down I only had 25 mins to eat and hit the road.

I try and leave no later than 9:10am to make it there by 9:30am. You cannot sign in for a visit before 9:30am, but you want to be there first so you get called first, processed first, called back to the visiting room first and get first choice of seats! I was so happy to walk in and realize that I was the first one there for visits!! I was processed and then about 20 minutes later I was called back to see my man. :)

We knew it was going to be a hot one so we opted for a seat by a fan. We spent the next several hours holding hands and talking. Then in the mid afternoon we began playing Uno! When I first thought of spending 10 hours in a prison visiting room when he was sent to this latest facility I couldn't imagine how we would make it and what we would do for that entire time. What all would we talk about since we talk almost daily for the allotted 15 mins and still write letters to one another all the time. But this is the second weekend I've visited and each time those 10 hours fly by!

Before either of us realize it, it is already after 7pm...we know we have less than an hour to go and that is when the sadness begins. Yes, we have another 10 hours together on Sunday, but you know that is it so the sadness starts on Saturday...

Once the CO (Correctional Officer) calls time, we pick up our table, get our papers and his ID and start to say good-bye for the night. The kiss and embrace is what you wait for all day and when it happens it is always amazing! Once we start, we don't want to stop, but after we both moan into the kiss we know for both of our sakes, we must. We say good-bye for the night and I walk back through those doors and leave my man with a smile and blowing him a kiss until the next morning.

I walk to my car quickly and head back to town and hit the restaurant again. I have dinner and then head back to the room. I am completely exhausted every Saturday night when I visit because of sitting for 10 hours combined with the level of emotions that we go through during our visits. But I cannot sleep so I start reading a book and finally drift off to sleep sometime after 1am...half excited for the next day's visit, but also half not wanting it to come because I know this is it for another 2-3 months.

It was so hot Saturday when we had our one (and only) bathroom break both my new panties and new jeans (a size smaller then what I have been wearing!) were damp. You are stuck in this room that seats 80 people that only has 3 house fans and 4 doors open. They rarely open the windows. The suspicion is because they want you to leave quickly, so they make it miserable for us. I find it ironic that us 80 people have 3 little fans and the 1 CO has 2! What MDOC has not figured out is that we are determined and aren't going anywhere!

Unlike the visiting room at the prior place, this one gets packed! I would estimate that each time I visit there is an average of 65 people in the room.

Going Back in Time...

Let me recap my trip for you...one day at a time! :) Let's go back to Friday. As you well know, I left my office at exactly at noon. I did my 10-15 minute "death march" to my car. Of course in the big park I have to walk along to get to my car garage another weekend festival was starting. This time it was the African Festival. I always love walking by watching these festivals and seeing all of the people that have made their way to our fair city to celebrate...

I made my way to my car and made my way out of the garage and then came to a complete and total stop for about another 5-10 minutes. What was the hold up? I started looking around. Then I start hearing something...drums. Just as my confusion peaked I saw what was delaying my trip to my man...a Jamaican Marching Band!! Well...you don't see that everyday...

Then I was on my way!! Only to notice that I had 100 miles to go before Empty (not East). Five hours later, one stop for gas and another stop for an Emergency Potty Break I was entering those walls. I have no idea how many times I've entered these same type of walls, but each time I am scared to death! I get the shakes, the sweats, and stomach cramps. There are very specific rules for visitors, but once I go through the next two sets of doors and I see my guy all of those nerves melt and then when we embrace and kiss they all come back for all sorts of different reasons...hehe

We spent the next 3.25 hours talking. It felt like we were only together about 35 minutes when time was called and we were able to embrace and kiss again and say a short good-bye until the next morning.

On to the hotel I go, which of course had to have problems that lasted all weekend. Every time I tried to enter my room I had to go back to the front desk and have the keys fixed to get in the room. Once I hauled everything in the room I looked around and saw something was missing...the frig and the microwave. I reported that to the front desk since I didn't want that coming up on the credit card! If I am springing for a frig and microwave, I want it new and a bit larger than a hotel set.

I made a trip to the local restaurant where I picked up a new nickname over the weekend, "The Diet Coke and Water Girl." After getting a quick dinner, I went back to the room, unpacked and got ready for bed. I was exhausted. I was asleep in minutes, dreamy, remembering those embraces and kisses we shared just hours earlier and excited to do it again the next day...

BTW, kudos to Sonics for carrying 3 different types of diet drinks! It just made me love Sonics even more!

A Tearful Goodbye

Well, today was it.  I had to say goodbye to my man and it was so hard.  I've had so many visits and trips to see him, but I have never broke down during the visit or in the visit room...now when I'm out in my car that is a whole different story, but this time was different.  I knew all day while we visited that I was having a hard time keeping it together, but I kept trying.

About 40 mins before our visit was over I just lost it.  I mean totally lost it.  Tears dripping off my face landing on my honey's arm.  I couldn't stop either.  I had my face buried in his shoulder and everytime he touched me I think it made things worse, even though he was trying to make it better...finally he knew exactly what to do to make it stop...make me laugh!  LOL  My man started to crack little jokes and made me laugh and was able to get the tears to stop.

I told my man if I didn't turn around after I walked through the first set of doors when we said goodbye, it was because I couldn't bring myself to.  The reasoning was because I didn't want to upset him.  The thing about prison life is the fact that he cannot cry, so why am I going to push him to cry or put it in his face.  I wanted him to know and I needed to say it out loud so we were on the same page.

I was kind of upset because every other night the CO announced a 10 or a 5 minute warning before visits were over.  Tonight, we received a 1 minute warning.  Maybe he saw how upset some of us were and didn't want us to agonize, I don't know.  Anywho, we got that last minute warning and I thought I might be sick, because it seemed to happen so quickly!  I took our Uno cards up to the desk, grabbed our paperwork and my man's ID, and walked back to him.  And then it happened.........my man grabbed me, pulled me to him, looked me in the eye, told me he loved me and then kissed me.  OMG...it was a kiss of all kisses.  It was a hard, passionate, dirty kiss...the best you can have in the situation we were in.  It curled my toes and needless to say, he wasn't the only one to moan tonight.  He couldn't have gave me a better kiss!  When we finally ended the kiss, we embraced for a deep hug, expressed our love for one another and then I had to walk away.  When I got to the first set of doors I had tears streaming down my face and my legs were shaking...after I checked in with the CO in the control room before I had to go through the next doors I knew I had to turn and look at my man.  With a smile on my face I turned and blew him a kiss and mouthed, "I Love You!"  I wanted him to know I was okay and for him not to be too upset tonight while we were both alone...

I hate leaving him there even though when he comes home he will not be coming home to me.  It is just different.  I hate having to leave alone and knowing I won't be able to see him for another 3 months...that phone calls are intermittent and limited and that letters never come and go fast enough.  I just hate saying good bye with tears, heartache, a kiss and a last "I love you."

Fridays...

Alright...this is going to be another hog-pog of a Friday post! I originally was going to do a post entitled "Fish Tacos, Friday the 13th, and a Shoulder Kiss". Well, I'm going to combine that with today's "Good Friday" post!

Back on March 13, which was another Friday the 13th, I agreed to meet the most recent former co-worker from my office for lunch. Of course, this person isn't the most normal kind of guy. And not all of it is his fault. He does have a mild CHI (closed head injury). I understand this concept and try my hardest to write off some of his antics. Of course, I know he is even more Catholic than I am (which isn't hard, trust me!), so I figure when he asks me to lunch on a Friday during Lent that he will not pick my chips & salsa Mexican restaurant...well, I was wrong and he did. Of course all I could think of was, "Do they have fish tacos?"

Now, I don't know about you, but fish tacos sound like one of the most horrible things ever! I don't even know where the idea comes from. I don't know if they really do exist. I just vaguely recall hearing someone say the phrase "fish tacos" and it has stuck in my head ever since. I consult with Dani and we conclude that they probably have cheese and onion enchiladas, so I should be safe (outside of the craziness that my fellow lunch eater will bring to the table...literally!). I arrive at the restaurant approximately 10 mins late, which I know should be okay because former co-worker is unable to be on time. And me of all people, I'm okay with that. So as I usually try and do, I bring a book from school to read while I wait. When I get to this place I'm actually surprised at how many people are there for lunch on a Friday during Lent. Maybe I will be better than safe with my food options.

Finally former co-worker shows up, at least 20-25 mins late. I then later determine that he is working that day across the street from the restaurant at a health-care insurance company's internal credit union. I find this intriguing since when I hoped on our city's version of a subway system at exactly 12:30pm (the time we were suppose to meet) and receive a text that he is on his way... Hmmmmm...did he get on our city's version of a subway system for old times sake and ride it around one loop?! Oh well...we order and I remind him that it is Friday and Lent and he seems shocked by this turn of events. Equally puzzling, but I move on. We chat, we eat (I don't look at him while we eat, because he isn't the 'best eater'.) and then he announces to our waiter that he needs to place a to-go order. The waiter, who due to my frequent stops in there acknowledges that he knows me, takes the order and leaves. My former co-worker becomes obsessed about this to go order. Hmmm...is this your real meal so you want to make sure it is perfect? When I inquiry who he is picking up the meal for to make idle conversation I'm advised, "No one you would know." Duh..... You think?!

The to-go order comes out and the waiter leaves that along with our bills. As we pay our bills the former co-worker opens up the to-go meal and is upset because he specifically requested a "very large side of shredded cheese" and it is missing. He starts turning frantically in his chair and begins to look for our waiter. So I tell him the waiter is over at a table on the other side of the restaurant, putting together silverware, he is the only male at the table and is with approximately 3 or 4 other wait people. So my lunch companion gets up, walks thru the main dining room and stands behind a pole to attempt to get our waiter's attention. I find this odd...not only did you not walk by the waiter, make any motion to the waiter, you actually kind of walked the long way around him and then stood behind him and with a pole between the two of you. I don't see this getting his cheese....but what do I know. Then he walks towards the kitchen, stops, stares at the table of wait-staff, turns around and stands back behind the pole again. Finally one of the waitresses asks our waiter if the guy standing behind the pole belongs to his table! I'm sitting at our table chuckling to myself because this just seemed like a crazy way to get some more cheese...

Finally, the cheese has been secured, he comes back to the table goes on about how he can now afford to tip and how he is a big spender now. So I ask if that means he is picking up my lunch. If you ever want to see a cheap man sweat ask him if he is buying you lunch. They start sweating, stuttering, etc. Finally I had to tell him I was only kidding and remind him that I had already paid my bill...he was glad I had because he said he was trying to tell me nicely that he wasn't buying me lunch. LMAO!

Upon exiting the restaurant he starts walking and talking to the right and I stop and wait for him to realize I'm not with him. When he does he turns around and I tell him I'm going to the left. He comes at me for a hug...if you knew this person you can close your eyes, picture him in a black peacoat coming at you with arms all up in the air for a hug. It isn't the best site to see coming at you with no place to escape! So he hugs me, tells me how great it is to see me again and before he releases the hug I see that his face is down at my shoulder, like face down and then I hear it...a big smacking kiss sound. You know, the "muah" sound! He kissed my shoulder? Through my winter coat? Regardless...he kissed my shoulder? I told Captain in a separate email...I wasn't sure if I found it hilarious or a bit disturbing...

I'm thinking I need to be intimately involved with someone to kiss their shoulder and even if I'm liking this person from afar and dream of kissing this person's shoulder and figure it is safe to kiss this person's shoulder through a winter coat because they will never feel it and I'm the only one that will know about it...I'm thinking I wouldn't make the kissy noise! I'm still not entirely clear what happened that Friday the 13th between the Fish Tacos that ended with A Shoulder Kiss...

Well, back to today...April 10th! It is Good Friday. I finally made it through my last Friday of Lent without eating meat. I only have 53 mins left right now to make it all the way to the end and I think I can do it! It was a pretty uneventful Good Friday for me. It was opening day for our home baseball team! Who kicked ass today! Go Tigers!!!! I only worked 4 hours today and busted my ass at work today since I was off ill yesterday and really hadn't done much work all week. Monday will be my last catch up day for slacking and being sick this week. I'm okay with that, because unless something crazy happens (which is always a possibility there!) I can complete my catch-up before noon! I'm actually doing pretty good on my homework/reading this week and weekend so far. I have 3 chapters to read for AIL~P and then I need to finalize my case summaries and post those on-line. In Crim Sentencing I need to read the coursepack materials for this week and do a couple hypos. In Crim Pro I have 33 pages to read for this week and I want to work on 2 sets of questions Prof. W. provided weeks ago! I would like to work on tightening my notes up to become outlines for Crim Sentencing and Crim Pro. I have to type Wednesday's notes from Crim Pro too! Then comes BK! UGH...I am approximately 13 weeks behind in that class....I'm planning on devoting the remainder of my time this weekend and this coming week to BK. That is how I caught up on Crim Pro this past week, so we will see how that goes! Of course the munchkin will come home tomorrow night because of it being Easter Sunday and the Easter Bunny needing to visit before Sunday morning. So I'm losing an entire day of studying, but maybe I'll be able to work on my outlines while he is here...who knows. I'm trying to take it as it comes!

Alright...off to read some more AIL~P and go to bed since I have an early day tomorrow. The goal: get up at 6am, leave the house by 7am, do my shopping @ Wal-Marts & Meijers with a pit-stop to the Post Office all before I have to meet someone at 9:30am! Think it can be done? Because then after that the plan is, come home, put groceries away, take a nap, do some homework! Wish me luck!

I hope you had a wonderful Good Friday too!

Fat Tuesday...

Well, I guess if you must return to work after spending 4 days with your honey and a day on the road up and one on the way down, Fat Tuesday is the day to do it! Yummy!!!!

Sunday night really sucked leaving him there. I had to trick my mind so I didn't lose it...so what does the other woman leaving do? Look at me while she has tears streaming down her face. :( Yeah, not helping me here............. I didn't want to go to sleep Sunday night because that meant our time was really over and in what would feel like only minutes later I would be driving south...

I was on the road by 8am Monday morning and there is this one section of road where I cry every single time I'm leaving. Of course I just finished that section of road, dried my tears and what do I see? A state trooper making a u-turn to come and get me. Nice.... 10 mins and 1 warning later, I was back on the road again. I pulled in to my road at 5pm. There were several more spots on the roadway where I cried again, there were a few phone calls from my man to make sure I was doing okay as I made my way home.

I got home, saw my munchkin, which put a smile back on my face, had dinner with him and the aunt. They went to CCD, I unloaded the car, partially unpacked, talked to my man one more time and as soon as I got the okay from my aunt, off to bed I went. I was totally exhausted. So I ended my long weekend by being in bed by 9pm...

I hope everyone has a great Fat Tuesday! Watch out for Ash Wednesday tomorrow and remember NO MEAT! Plus, give your honey a great big hug, a sexy kiss and tell him/her that you love them and be happy that you are able to see them today...

My Groundhog Day

Several people ask me what all I do while I am up visiting my guy. It is pretty much the same everyday. It isn't exciting but it isn't boring either but it has became a routine...

  • I start my day by getting up whenever I wake up...yippie, no alarms for 3 entire mornings!!
  • I get partially ready: shower, get dressed, do my hair.
  • I travel off to grab breakfast. It is always at the same location...every day, The Hilltop Restaurant. I found this place my very first morning up here and fell in love. The staff is fantastic and super friendly. And oh my god....the food is to die for! They have the best homestyle breakfast I have ever had in my life!! (Their biscuits and gravy surpass any biscuits and gravy Bob Evans has ever served me in my entire life!!!) It appears to be the local favorite too, so I opt to sit in the smoking section as it is way less busy and it gives me a chance to read for school. I usually average about 2 hours there depending on what time I woke up. And in case I slept too late that day and missed breakfast, the rest of their food is excellent too!
  • I have two options now. If I went to the front desk that morning to pick up my voucher for the casino I go over, turn it in, get my coupons and my certificate for my $5. This is also where I get my rolls of quarters each day for the vending machines during my visit. If I didn't get my voucher I go straight back to the hotel room and again, depending on time, I finish getting ready...do my make-up, count out my quarters, make sure I'm ready for my visit.
  • At 3:25pm, I leave my room and drive the 2 minutes it takes to get to the prison. I check in, get snacks, go through my pat-down and go to the visiting room to wait for them to bring my guy in. We visit from 4-8:30pm. Then it is time to go...
  • Since the town closes at 8pm, I only have 2 options for dinner. Of course I'm just starting to feel hungry after my wonderful first meal. I could always go to the casino and eat at their Sports Bar, but that is usually going to be pretty busy, so I go to the only other option. A place called Irene's Pizza. This is where I eat dinner and read some more. They too have excellent food. Their pizza is very good, but I'm finding out this trip that their Mexican choices out do their pizza. Their taco pizza is the best one I've ever had and tonight I had a wet burrito, which was excellent. I usually stay there as late as either they are open (which on Fridays and Saturdays is till midnight) or until I feel like coming back to the room. Or like tonight, I head back to the room earlier than normal because I have to put on my PJs because I overate and it is snowing like crazy. (They expect 4-6 inches of snow tonight here & 7 inches of snow is expected at home today too...When will Spring arrive Mr. Groundhog?!?)
  • Back to the room I come to get ready for bed, get my stuff ready to do the same thing tomorrow and read some more for school.
Others ask me...don't you get bored? Actually, no. I become very relaxed while I'm here and get loads of rest and reading done. I think I need these weekends as much as he does, but I think I get more out of them then my honey does...

I'm off to get ready for bed and to read more BK!!

PS. I got another moan tonight...guess my evil plan is working! ;)

Hodge-Podge

There are several things I need to follow-up on here so this posting will be a Hodge-Podge of a post. Gosh, I hope I'm not the only person who knows what a Hodge-Podge is! Or maybe I'm not and I just don't know how to spell it, so forgive me if it sounds like I don't know what I'm talking about! Or should I say, forgive me if it sounds like you don't know what I'm talking about! ;)

Comments/Followers....all in one evening!?! Much to my surprise I sign on to my blog and I see something funny. Actually two somethings funny...I HAVE COMMENTS & A FOLLOWER!!!! Woo-hoo!!! Thank you both! I was actually going to post that I finally had the courage to tell 3 very dear people to me about this blog and here 2 of them are!!!!!!!! Thanks gals! I love you both!! Of course the 3rd one can't show up for at least another 22 months and a wake up! But I did get the okay to post his picture showing off his mountain man ways. I'm just not sure if I should or if I can (I'm not really that tech savvy as others!).

Sillyjilly~~you made my day by being my follower and making a comment too! Thank you! I love you for that...as for the 80 degree weather, well I'm incredibly jealous, especially after exiting my car tonight to come to the room and it flashed a big ol' 7 degrees at me. Thanks car...you'll get yours when I trade you in next week! hehe

Dani~~thank you for your comment today. I actually thought of your Amy when I was writing my post. I don't admit how often I think of my Nana or my Papa, but maybe I will start now as it felt really good to think of her. I figured she was on my trip with me yesterday because not only did I think of her because of the Yun-Yuns, but also because I didn't realize the new bra I bought had dragonflies on it. I know...strange to think of your grandmother because her symbol is on your bra, but it is what it is! But don't worry...I won't be posting pictures of that even if I could! ;)

Family Drama Continues...I talked with my aunt tonight and she told me the CPS worker assigned to the case tracked my ex-s-i-l down and asked her why she didn't show up to court Thursday and she said "because it is tomorrow." I don't know if this conversation took place on Thursday or Friday, but if it took place on Friday I have to say an extra prayer for her because she wasn't even smart enough to lie about a day that courts are even open. :( When the tip of information was given to this woman all she said was she wasn't surprised by this story as she suspected the same thing. :( :( She then asked if there was anyone known to the family who could take the boys and when she was told that there is a couple who are friends of my aunts friend in Indiana who may be interested in adopting the boys she said for them to call her.... As we suspected, this isn't going to end pretty. I just hope and pray that it ends the drama in my nephews' lives... Keep praying for them as the Texan isn't doing well at all and is acting out severely.

Two teeth gone in a month? So my aunt called me tonight while I was grabbing dinner after my wonderful visit with my man. :) She told me that my baby lost a second tooth today at school. :( So he has went 6.5 years and lost none and now in the last 30 days he has lost two!! EEK!!! He is such a big boy now! Well, of course my child cannot do anything with out controversy. When you lose a tooth at school they put it in the cutest little holder that is in the shape of a tooth, with a string on it so they can carry it around their neck to bring it home and not lose it (again! LOL). Well, he was at Chica's after he got off the bus until my aunt could pick him up and the story goes that he was told twice to stop playing with the string, which is more of a plastic string than a string, string and he didn't, so Chica's Valentine's Day gift ate it... Chica panicked, called the vet who said to watch for it to come out of KC, but if they see it coming out and it isn't out all the way not to pull it out as it could strangle some of the puppy's organs. And of course, if it doesn't come out they will have to do surgery! So now I need to do an email to Chica to offer to pay for any charges they may incur from this incident. :( She was very angry with my munchkin, who then came home and cried because he hurt Chica and her KC. I feel horrible, but I have some issues with this too.

1. If you have to tell a child twice to stop playing with something and they don't, shouldn't you take it away from them? Isn't that part of what your responsibility as an adult is?
2. And how do we know for sure the puppy ate this string. It is a pretty long string...wouldn't he have chocked on it or gagged on it as he was eating it?
3. And ummm...Dr. Vet, can we do an x-ray to make sure the string is in there before we cut open this puppy?

Of course this isn't the only story she has to share with me of the issues my child has had since I left town less than 48 hours ago... Munchkin fell out of my mom's Mountaineer yesterday, landed on his butt and bruised his butt bone, or so we suspect. He complains when he sits down that his butt cheeks hurt. :( My baby!! :( They aren't showing any signs of bruising and hopefully he didn't bust his tail bone and it will go away, but my son~the drama queen~will carry this one as long as he can. I just feel horrible for him. And to add insult to injury this morning at the bus-stop one of the little kids that just moved in to the abandoned house down from ours (one that doesn't have a single window that had not been broken by the neighborhood hoodlums in the last 2 years the house has been empty) pushed my munchkin down on his injured buttocks! My son comes over to my aunt who got out of the car while she had been watching them crying because his arse hurt... She had to tell him not to cry because then they would call him a cry baby and then she told the other kids that there will be no more pushing. My son, being the narc that I have raised, immediately told the bus driver that the other kid pushed him down on his injured butt as soon as they got on the bus who in turn scolded the kid again. I see my son getting beat up for being the narc... But what can he do, when he does something back to the kids he gets in trouble. My baby can't win for nothing! :( What happened to the good old days before zero-tolerance when you could just push them back.

But hey...he made it 5 days with no calls from the school to me (which is great after my 2 calls from the principal last week!) and he didn't flip any disciplinary cards Thursday and Friday. He just narced a kid out and potentially killed a puppy.... He lives on both ends of the extremes. ;)
Yun-Yuns have returned...Well, the hotel I'm at houses some of the Yun-Yun drivers this weekend and at 1:55am (EST~~now that I've went national with my blog!) 4 of them just returned. They must have the Harley-Davidson version of Yun-Yuns as they are really loud!

A peck will get you a moan next time...So at my visit tonight, my guy tells me I just gave him a peck when I left last night. Which I think is funny because I thought he was short-giving on his end of both kisses yesterday. In the prison world for those readers who are not aware, you get one hug and one kiss when you start your visit and one hug and one kiss when you end your visit, these of course are limited to 5 seconds and with some CO's~yes, they are timed. Well, when I left tonight I refused to let him pull away from my kiss until I got his butt to moan...hehe Yes, I am evil.

Have a great Saturday y'all! I love you guys and hugs all around...I'm off to bed...
