My favorite quote...We all live in hiding. In one way or another each of us conceal pieces of ourselves from the rest of the world. Some people hide because their lives depend on it. Others because they don't like being seen. And then there are those special cases, the ones who hide because they just want someone to care enough to look for them...Which one are you?

Mountain Man?????

I made my trip and almost succeeded with my time goals. I actually didn't get on the road until 8am. I made a stop to Starbucks about 45 mins in as I didn't take time to eat or drink anything before I left. Then I stopped for gas twice and hit the hotel at 5:30pm. This gave me enough time to slap some makeup on and sprint over for a 2.5 hour visit with my guy! :D

I was so happy to get to see him, but OMG...he told me he wasn't going to shave and I in turn told him I wasn't going to shave either. That was the first laugh and smile I got from D after we had a situation a couple weeks ago. So I expected him to be scruffy, but when he walked in and he had a full beard I was shocked!! :o I didn't know what to say. My man had became a mountain man in the (bitterly) cold local weather this winter!!!! The more I looked at it, the more I liked it. :) It was just so different and did it make him look older.

My man always has looked younger than he is. He is going to be 40 this year and this is the first time that he has actually looked close to his age. I'll have to tell him tomorrow that once I got over my shock, it grew on me and it is more than a little sexy! :)

After our visit I went to the casino to cash in my "hotel certificates". I got more stuff than I thought I would and I spent more than I anticipated! EEK!! I guess that is how they suck you in. LOL I received a free drink (my signature drink...a tootsie roll), to double winnings on 2 hands of black jack and $5! I cashed in $40 and lost it all. I was up a bit a couple times but I ended up putting it all back in. The biggest problem with $5/hand blackjack...if you lose, it goes fast! I figured about an hour of fun for $40 isn't bad and with taking $5 out with me, I really only lost $35 and since I got my drink free, which normally would cost at a minimum $5...I really only lost $30. Yes, that is rationalizing at work my friends!

Alright, I'm off to bed so I can get up, get ready and go to my favorite breakfast spot in this little prison town! ;)

Hugs y'all!!!!
