Suspension???

As I sat in my office this morning my cell phone rang and it was my son's school.  When I answered, it was his principal to tell me my first grader was being suspended for the remainder of the day.  

It appears that the lunch lady witnessed my son tickling a classmate in the groin area.  :(  She indicated that my son stated that boy had done the same thing to him, but there was no witness to that.  She then went on to tell me the same exact thing happened the day before with two other 1st grade boys in the other 1st grade classroom.  EEK!!  What is going on?!?  

Of course I had a mandatory staff meeting at 1pm so I couldn't leave to get my baby, so I had to call my aunt and ask if she could leave work to go and get him for me.  I'm so grateful for my aunt as she is always able to help me...I couldn't do what I do without her!

After work I went to dinner with former co-workers.  I don't know if it is because of what has been going on with my family and my life, but it just wasn't nearly as fun as I was hoping.  :(  I felt like I was that 3rd wheel and part of that is because I'm just now going to school to be what they are and don't know all of the "ins & outs" like they do.  Also, they don't know about my reconnect with my man because they just wouldn't understand...  I'm glad we met as it had been too long and I spent more time there tonight than I anticipated so it wasn't all bad!  Plus it was at one of my favorite places~~with the best chips and salsa in the world!  :)
