Dad's surgery went well; however, he was having issues with coming out of the anesthesia. Finally he was able to come home and I agreed to go and help mom get him in the house. Since we already missed Chica's oldest daughter's birthday party, we got Dad settled in and then after relaxing for a few minutes the munchkin and I grabbed dinner (him-McDonald's; me-Applebee's), came home and have just relaxed since. We will be busy tomorrow, but tonight we are relaxing and going to bed early. :)
It is all about me.... This is my story, my challenges, my life, my loves, my family, my struggles and just "my" blog!

- My favorite quote...We all live in hiding. In one way or another each of us conceal pieces of ourselves from the rest of the world. Some people hide because their lives depend on it. Others because they don't like being seen. And then there are those special cases, the ones who hide because they just want someone to care enough to look for them...Which one are you?

A plate and a few screws for Dad
Up at our normal time this morning we packed everything up and off to the hospital we went! Dad had to be there for 8:30am, with a surgery time of 10:30am. As always, things do not go smoothly in our family, because this was something we should have been on our way home no later than 1pm. However, at 3:30pm we were finally thinking we were seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
