As some of you know, I love tax time! But that is because I allow the government to use my money, make interest off from it and then get a honkin' check at the end! I find that I do better with this, because I can do big things like buy a new car or buy living room furniture or pay off debts. Obviously since I am getting money back I've already filed my taxes, actually this year was the latest I've ever filed taxes!! I filed them in mid-March! But I know the people who file today are likely those that are having to write a check to Uncle Sam! :(
I still haven't seen or heard about my city income taxes, but that is not a shock...by the time I get that return I will have forgot it was coming!
This year was also a first...I made a mistake on my state income taxes! Last year I forgot to sign my city income taxes when I filed them. I hope this doesn't mean that next year I'll have problems with my federal taxes! That just scares me too much to even imagine!
Well, if you are busy doing your taxes today, I feel your pain! And remember...it only happens once a year!
