Welcome to My World!!

My favorite quote...We all live in hiding. In one way or another each of us conceal pieces of ourselves from the rest of the world. Some people hide because their lives depend on it. Others because they don't like being seen. And then there are those special cases, the ones who hide because they just want someone to care enough to look for them...Which one are you?

The Pressure

So reality struck me this morning at work and continued to slap me around the remainder of the day in to the night.

As I was downloading the 4 documents Prof. Wine sent to us last night for tonight's Pre-trial Lit, realizing that I have to draft a Summons, Complaint, Cover Sheet and Corporate Disclosure Statement for next Thursday for this class I started to panic. I was adding this to last night's assignment of drafting a complaint and a set of pleadings/documents to evict renters, which are both due on Wednesday for my LFP-Small Firms class. Also, I need to begin working on my "writing through the curriculum" paper for PR. Even though it isn't due until 9/16 I just have too many other things to procrastinate with it. Obviously we don't have class Monday, but the Double-D Professors (yes, I have two profs for one class!) weren't going to let me be free from work due!! So Thursday a Client Interview Outline is due @ 7pm!

Then the kicker was when my boss told me on the phone that she has a ton of work coming down to me, because we are all over loaded and the work is just piling up plus my co-worker is going out on medical for a total knee replacement with tomorrow as her last day until (likely) mid-November.

Ugh...the pressure....

But, week #2 is over and done with! And I only have to make it to 2:30pm tomorrow when I leave work early tomorrow, so 14 hours and 45 mins and counting.........
